About Holden Beach HomeWatch
I am a retired school teacher now a resident of Holden Beach. Returning to North Carolina, I will have completed a full cycle. I was born in Durham and grew up in Lexington, NC. My family relocated to Danville, Kentucky in the early 1960s. After college, I settled in Columbus, Ohio. You could say I am a Tarheel, Kentucky Colonel with a Buckeye flavor. I am returning to my roots after falling in love with Holden Beach. Life is always better at the beach; this is where I belong.
I have owned and rented my beach property for eight years. I have experienced EVERY aspect of property management at Holden Beach including a total renovation of the property, securing support services (cleaning, maintenance and repair), installing the sewer system, and beach nourishment while living and working 700 miles away. I could never absorb the total Holden Beach ambience because of the difficulty that arises for owners who live far away.
Owning property at Holden Beach should be fun and rewarding. As an absentee owner you should be able to experience peace of mind.
